I have had the same artificial tree for 6 years. The last two years I’ve had to add lights throughout because things started to die. SO- this year, I started look for a new tree that would be PERFECT for years to come. As I was grocery shopping at Walmart, I thought I’d look through there trees…. and BINGO! I found this beauty and only $79!
Today’s post is all about picturesssss!! Questions I get asked a lot are… what phone I have to take photos, what camera and lens I use and how I edit… I’m going to just touch on the basics of what I use and what has worked well for me. I plan to do a more in depth post on the editing process one day soon.
Day two started off with a fun trip to the Daytona Flea Market! It’s only open on the weekends so we had to take our chance while we could.
It’s offically time for our annual Dale/ Banks beach trip. My parents have owned the same timeshare since I was a little girl...
What a week this has been! Friday, at school we found out that school would be canceled for Monday of this past week due to Hurricane Irma. At the time, we didn't know quite how bad it would be but we began preparing. After watching the news that night, it seemed that it was making it's way closer and closer to us. We decided just to be on the safe side, we would head north and spend some time with family. So... Saturday morning- we headed out to SC!
I can't believe it! The school year is here and we are on our way to an amazing year of teaching and learning! Zeke is super excited about his new adventure of pre-school and we can't wait to see what all he learns!
Wow- boy did this summer go by so quickly! This was our first summer as a "two-teacher" family... it was so neat to have a couple of months of nothing but family cuddles and vacations. We truly blessed to have the opportunity to stay home for the summer. Here are some highlights from our summer together!
Yay! We have finally moved in! We had planned to use the weekend (after closing on Thursday) to move…
As we prepare for the move, I've been slowly redoing some of our furniture. Most of our pieces are chalk painted, but we still have a few of Josh's older pieces that needed to be redone….
Wow! Time sure has flown. I can't believe it's almost time to close on our home! I'm sure the next week/ week and a half will go by super slow, but I can't believe we are almost there.
