Baby Gear Favs!
After a year, I think I have finally compiled a list of my favorite baby gear items! When we first found out we were pregnant, I was so overwhelmed by all of the gear on pinterest that was a "must-have"... I am here to tell you that most of that is non-sense! Everyone is different, but these are the few items that worked wonders for us!
1- The baby jogger city mini! You can find it here! We started out using the stroller than came with our carseat- which worked fine for a while. BUT after using a friends city mini, I was sold. The most convenient feature is the ability to open and fold up one- handed. By far, my most used baby product so far!
2- Ergo baby carrier. My wonderful co-workers at my job at the health department bought this for us and it has been such a great gift! We literally use the carrier everyday. Whether it's to put up dishes or to put Z asleep, this carrier is an all around God-send! Find it here!
3- Boppy infant lounger! Here! When we first came home from the hospital, one of the first questions was "where is Z going to sleep?" We tried the pack-n-play for a while and he didn't seem to like that. He slept in the mama-roo for a few nights but we didn't feel that was too safe. Being so tiny, we were so scared to have him in the bed with us- until we found the infant lounger. For the first few months of Z's life, he slept between me and Josh in his lounger. It made BF so easy during the night. Soon, the lounger went with us everywhere so that he would always have a comfy place to nap.
4- Milk Snob, all-in-one cover. This thing is amazing. I used this as a BF cover and also as a carseat cover. You can find it here!
5- Petit Pehr blankets! These are by far the softest swaddle blankets. A year later, and we still love them. You can find them here!
I'm sure this list will continue to grow, but these have been our "go-to" items that we use(d) everyday!
